Katakune is a delightful and award-winning 3D animated cartoon series created for children 2 to 6 from Character Farm. Already broadcasted in TV stations around the world, Swag Soft has now licensed Katakune to be distributed as iPhone applications.

*What Does Katakune Teach?*

Katakune is designed to fill the gaps where most preschooler cartoons fail to do so. While most preschooler cartoons focused mainly on things like counting and spelling, Katakune places emphasis on social interaction and EQ based topics.
Educational and entertaining, Katakune shows children simple ways to deal with complex concepts of social responsibility, friendship, life skills and value systems. Subjects in basic science, geography, mathematics, health and hygiene, environmental issues and creativity are dealt with too.

*What’s in Every Katakune Application?*

Every application contains 10 minutes’ worth of beautiful animation, broken down into 5 easy to watch episodes, all evolving around a universal theme. It could be about social topics like honesty, friendship, responsibility, learning or fun discovery topics like hot air balloons, plants, food, tea, toys, etc. Every application also contains beautifully rendered wallpapers from the episodes and trivia regarding the characters and every episode.

*Episode 16 – I Want a Job*

Katakune is finding the school holidays really boring! But Louie, Tyko and Benny are all busy working hard, so they can earn some pocket money to buy new toys. Katakune sees this and realizes he also wants to get a job so he can buy some new toys!

Objective – Suggests to kids that getting a vacation job is a constructive way to spend the summer holiday.

*Episode 17 – Katakune the Plumber*

Katakune is excited that his first job is an assistant plumber to Woody! However Katakune does not take his job seriously and is always distracted. Katakune really ought to concentrate on his job!

Objective - Illustrates to kids the importance of being responsible at a job.

*Episode 18 – Katakune the Baker*

Katakune has got a job as an assistant baker in Grace’s bakery. Grace tells Katakune to keep an eye on the cake baking in the oven while she makes some deliveries. Katakune decides to bake a cake too. While Katakune is busy with his cake, he forgets all about the one in the oven!

Objective - Illustrates to kids that it is important to follow instructions at work.

*Episode 19 – Katakune the Courier*

Katakune is still trying hard to find a suitable job. When he sees Roger making deliveries for the Thomas and Willy, he decides to apply to be a courier too. Soon, Katakune realizes that he has underestimated how tough making deliveries can be!

Objective - Illustrates to kids that some jobs are not as easy as they might seem at first.

*Episode 20 – The Perfect Job*

Katakune is a little disappointed to see that all his friends are working hard, and yet he doesn’t seem to be good at any of those previous jobs! Just when Katakune is about to give up, he sees a poster in the toy store. He gets an idea! His new job is to help Willy with designing better posters that can help attract customers into the shop. Now that is the perfect job for Katakune!

Objective - Illustrates to kids that they can find out what they’re good at, and to use that as a starting point for job searching.
